For this week’s Wellness Wednesday, motivation is the topic. Since it is a new year, many of us are feeling a sense of having a fresh start. Many of us have thought about and/or made resolutions to somehow improve ourselves or our situations for the upcoming year. It is typical and completely normal that motivation levels are higher at this particular time of year more so than any other. Weight Watchers continues to meet on Thursdays, after work. We are getting geared up to start another series so if you are interested in joining, please contact Donna Trusso at 661-4795. In the month of December, the Weight Watchers members have lost a total of 121 pounds!
Kick Cabin Fever is an indoor triathalon held at the Chautauqua Institution on February 3, 2018. Registration starts at 10 and the heats for each event start at 11am. If you are interested in participating, please get a hold of Heather Courtney, 661-1571, as soon as possible. TRC will pay for the first two teams or the first four individual participants who express interest and sign up!
The Billion Step Challenge has started as of January 1, 2018 and runs through April 8. TRC has put a team together and for the first two weeks of the challenge, TRC has taken 1,600,416 steps!!!!
